CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY
Members of the Lions Club of Gilles Plains, along with several volunteers (Scout and Girl Guides) participated in the Clean up Australia Campaign on Sunday 6th March. They picked up rubbish (approx 100kg) from along a section of the River Torrens.
Among the unusual items collected was a shopping trolley and a baby’s rocker. Everyone was presented with a "Thank you Certificate" and enjoyed a free sausage sizzle and soft drink to end the day. The club thanks all for taking part.
